The furniture is made to the same standards as those chairs found throughout the streets of Paris, France, matching those makers' quality, workmanship, and materials. Each piece is handmade in Indonesia – the birthplace of the rattan bistro chair. We use Manau rattan, known for its durability, strength, and weather resistance qualities. Although Paris made the Bistro table and chair famous, Indonesia made the chairs possible. The rattan is grown and harvested in the Indonesian rainforests. Indonesia is the largest rattan producer in the world.
